Ingredients
- 2 lbs shrimp/shrimp peeled, deveined and tails removed
- 5-6 cloves garlic finely minced or micro planed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup lime juice about 2 limes
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp salt more to taste
- 1/4 tsp black pepper more to taste
- 1/3 cup cilantro chopped
- 1 head Romaine lettuce for wraps
- Garlic cilantro sauce for serving
- Optional: rice or flour tortillas for serving
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, lime juice, cumin, and salt and pepper.
- In a large bowl, combine shrimp/shrimp and garlic lime mixture. Toss shrimp with the sauce.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp/shrimp and sauce.
- Cook the shrimp/shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side or until just pink. Shut off the heat and stir in the cilantro.
- Serve shrimp in romaine lettuce “wraps” or in a flour tortilla. Top with green onions and Cilantro Garlic Sauce and enjoy!
